The University of Sydney's second China Development Forum was held on 4 May 2018 at the University of Sydney Business School in Australia.

With the theme of "China at the Turning Point", the forum discussed the opportunities and challenges facing China at a turning point in its development. The forum invited several experts and scholars, including Bob Carr, former Governor of NSW, former Minister for Foreign Affairs and current Director of the Australia-China Relations Institute at the University of Technology Sydney, Tao Dachen, Member of the Australian Academy of Sciences and Foreign Member of the European Academy of Sciences, and Jocelyn Chey, Research Fellow of the Australian Institute of International Affairs, to discuss "Technology and Innovation The three sub-forums on "Technology and Innovation", "China's Soft Power" and "Global Governance" will be held with the audience.
